Hello, September! While we enjoyed basking in the sun during the summer break, we are more than ready for the pumpkin spice and putting on the winter layers! Not only are teachers and students back to school, but our team is “back on the road” around the country, visiting various Education Technology conferences!

Thank you to all who spread a little heart with us at ISTE last month at the GoGuardian Giving Tree. We are thrilled to share that we dropped off the check of $7,390 to Coded by: Kids yesterday in Philadelphia. Forgoing our conference giveaways this year will help Coded by: Kids prepare underrepresented young people to succeed as tech leaders through project-based learning and mentorship. We appreciate your heart-folding enthusiasm at ISTE and your understanding for why we didn’t give out swag this year. It’s an incredible feat to see this community come together to promote teaching, technology, and equitable opportunities through this effort, and we couldn't be prouder to share it with you.

WE DID IT. ISTE 2019 was a huge success thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and joined our 80s party with ClassLink and The Spazmatics. It was great to connect with many of you in person, as well as online via #NotAtISTE. For all of you out there in the GoGuardian community, here are the Best Moments of ISTE 2019 (from our perspective).

In the past few months, your favorite TV shows came to a close for the season. You watched your finales and perhaps saw previews of what’s to come in the fall, and hopefully you were excited for shows to return in a few months (except for one, maybe. Winter is sadly not coming again...but fall is!). In the television industry, it’s called a “hiatus.” In education, most call it “summer break.” But it all means the same thing: we break for summer and come back strong for the next season. The truth is, while the viewers are taking summer breaks from watching the show, the production keeps running in order to bring you top content for the fall. And that’s what we’re doing too.
GoGuardian never takes a break. In fact, we’ll spend the summer ramping up to bring you new products, features, and enhancements when the school year starts again. Like any good show does for its loyal viewers, we want to give you a recap of what you’ve seen thus far and a preview of what’s to come. Here’s the Spring Finale (past updates to products) and Fall Preview (future updates to products) of the show we call “School Year”:

Every year more than 16,000 educators and admins join their personal learning network for one of the largest educational technology conferences in the world. People come to ISTE from across the nation for its convention rooms filled to the brim with swag, break-out sessions, and ISTE buddies. As usual, GoGuardian will be there, and we are so excited to share with you what is going on in our booth this year! To begin the ISTE countdown, we’re having a countdown of our own: what are people are most excited for on the ISTE floor and in Philadelphia?
