Thank you to all who spread a little heart with us at ISTE last month at the GoGuardian Giving Tree. We are thrilled to share that we dropped off the check of $7,390 to Coded by: Kids yesterday in Philadelphia. Forgoing our conference giveaways this year will help Coded by: Kids prepare underrepresented young people to succeed as tech leaders through project-based learning and mentorship. We appreciate your heart-folding enthusiasm at ISTE and your understanding for why we didn’t give out swag this year. It’s an incredible feat to see this community come together to promote teaching, technology, and equitable opportunities through this effort, and we couldn't be prouder to share it with you.

Improving teacher-student relationships
Building healthy relationships is an essential part of the learning process for both teachers and students. Establishing and maintaining healthy relationships with coworkers, administration, and parents enables us to effectively partner to give our students the best educational experiences with the greatest outcomes. But equally important to this process is creating and sustaining healthy relationships with students that allow us to provide the supportive guidance necessary to ensure their academic and personal success. Below are a few strategies that can help each of us improve these relationships.
